Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival is just around the corner, so it's time to start putting together what to wear.

Remember, the concert is held in a usually relaxed atmosphere. So think of clothes that are comfortable, yet trendy. Dresses are definitely an option, but stick to relaxed-fitting summer-type dresses.

Also, take note that the shows are usually long, so comfort is of utmost importance, and you cannot enjoy the show in uncomfortable shoes. Forget the stilettos and pack those absolutely hot sandals and cute flats. These days, the choices are endless; you can choose from the super-cute jewelled ones to the stylish gladiators.

Bear in mind that the weather can be nippy, especially at nights, so do not forget a sweater or cropped jacket. Cropped jackets and blazers are currently in and there are some snazzy ones available.

If you are having trouble figuring out what to wear, grab your weekend bag and let us assist you.

If you want to go for a jumpsuit, this free-flowing one is super-cute and will fit the bill for the occasion.

Go for a comfy, yet sexy, jeans paired with a top that's belted. And if you must wear something with a little height, go with a wedge. At least they are much more comfortable than a pair of heels. - File
