Alias Mr Cat looks good again
Both the Pick-9 and Super-6 will star anew at Caymanas Park tomorrow at the well-supported 10-race programme offering three trophy races.
The Pick-9 will commence from race two and the Super-6 will embrace races five to 10. We look at the Super-6 which kicks off with a restricted allowance four race (non winners of three) over 1100 metres in which seven starters have been declared. This should come down to a straight fight between PATARA and SHE'S MAGIC, both of whom went under in photo-finishes recently. PATARA was just touched off by THE GUV over 1400 metres and is tipped to go one better with leading jockey Shane Ellis aboard.
Sixteen native bred three-year-old fillies are slated to contest the sixth race, the Eight Thirty Sprint, over the straight five course and the winner should come from the quartet of ALEXIS, HERA (Lasix on), TOPLESS ANGEL and the well-forward debutante MISS ANGELINE from the stables of Percy Hussey.
By Tradition out of the 2005 Oaks winner, All For Pleasure, MISS ANGELINE has looked real sharp at exercise and could get off the mark immediately, even though the experience of HERA should count for something.
I would also like last Saturday's runaway winner ALIAS MR. CAT to repeat in the seventh, down-in-class THREE QUEENS in the eighth, THE GUARDIAN to catch old rival FOREVER MINE in the ninth for the St Catherine Cup and RICKAYBA to upstage the recent winner ARDRIGH in the nightpan, race No. I in the CTL Claiming Series over 1200 metres.
