JLP saddened by councillor's death

General secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), Karl Samuda, has expressed sadness and shock at the sudden death of Caleb Lewinson, councillor for the Frankfield division in North West Clarendon.

Lewinson, 65, was taken to Spaldings Hospital late Friday night after experiencing a possible heart attack at a wake in his division. He was pronounced dead at hospital.

A release from the party yesterday stated that Samuda expressed condolences on behalf of the JLP to Lewinson's family, including his wife and children.
