Pulse stars end season on a high
After storming the collections in New York and London, Pulse's dynamic model duo Jeneil Williams and Sedene Blake continued their amazing run of shows in Milan and Paris ending the 2010 Fall/Winter season on a high note last week.
With feverish fashion momentum, the Vogue pair continued their hot streak in Milan chalking up runway for CNC Costume National, Ermano Scervino, Les Copains, Antonio Marras and several other top design houses before heading to Paris where Williams and Blake appeared for highly revered couturiers, including Loewe and Valentino, respectively, as well as Kenzo, Commun and Giles Deacon. Both appearing in fine form and stride, Loewe suited Williams in a sleek, tailored-high waist charcoal pants and matching cropped blazer, accessorised with chocolate skinny duo belts and matching clutch while Valentino styled Blake in a poignant black Mandarin coat matched with a pleated skirt and two-tone mules.
Completing the fashion circuit in Paris, Loewe and the indomitable Valentino round out an impressive arsenal of high-profile labels including Carolina Herrera, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane Von Furstenburg, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, Custo Barcelona, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood among others that have courted Williams and Blake this season.
Throughout the collections, Williams and Blake have amassed over 80 shows, an amazing feat and veritable first for Caribbean models. Williams, who makes her second appearance at the collections, has grown from Vogue to Vogue, her most recent accomplishment, the cover of Conde Nast's hot new LOVE Magazine alongside fashion royalty Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta, Kate Moss and Lara Stone.
Amazing career genesis
Both Williams and Blake were on assignment for Russian Vogue and while the former has earned a place among the new elite in world modelling, her counterpart has had an amazing career genesis. In her first season, Blake has been in overwhelming demand. She was quickly snapped up by Calvin Klein and booked for three other editions of Vogue merely weeks after her arrival in New York. Prior to her runway debut, she was selected by several fashion authorities including Vogue's Style.com, Modelina.com, among others, as one of three top new faces for the collections.
