Tuesday talk

Where's the substance?

1. Many are now seeing how a great PR campaign can lift an ordinary appointee into a star. Who says substance matters above visibility?

Bad deal

2. It's the summer season and life in the Second City is taking on many twists. Like the gentleman who disappeared for a few days, destination unknown. It seems he was hiding from an associate who was not very happy with him and wanted to demonstrate how he felt about a deal gone bad.

Workplace brawl

3. The exes thought they could continue working together in the business despite the fact that they were no longer husband and wife. Things seemed to be going well, until last week's explosion when employees report that there was a huge shouting match and windows being smashed.

Wrinkle, wrinkle

4. The truth is that, at the end of the day, not much can be done to alter the neckline. She looks like her daughter for sure, not a wrinkle to be seen, properly tucked in at all the right places - until one gets to the neck and the hands.

Cash in a flash!

5. He claims he was out of cash and so could not pay the debt. The firm then put the property on the market for sale! Action came! In a day, a manager's cheque for $25 million was produced to pay the debt! Where did the cash come from?
