An estimated 6,500 delegates from Kingston, Portland, St Thomas, St Catherine and Mandeville are expected at Sabina Park starting tomorrow for worship under the theme 'Remain Close to Jehovah!'
The convention, to be held July 23-25 and July 30-August 1, will begin 9:20 a.m. each day and the public is invited.
Admission is free and no collections will be taken.
According to a release, the programme will focus on how the Bible illuminates and clarifies the import of the words "Remains Close to Jehovah!" for modern Bible readers.
"Witnesses in the area's 22 congregations anticipate an excellent attendance this year in view of the enthusiastic response to last year's conventions," read the release from the Jehovah's Witnesses Office of Public Information.
