Well manicured fingers and pedicured toes painted in the hottest colours of the season are a must for the summer. The right colours are like the cherry on top of your favourite dessert.

This summer, nail colours go hi-tech as it's all about 3D and 'Hi-Definition' colours. Flair went on the hunt and found the hottest shades with these new technologies in Sally Hansen and Milani brand at Jencare.

Sally Hansen's new line of nail frost gives you high-definition brilliance in eight luminous shades. With Cyber, BLU, Pixel Pretty, Hi-Def, Digital, Three D and Hi-Res Frost, you will definitely find one to suit your personality.

Milani's 3D HOLOGRAPHIC and Neon nail lacquer, gives your nails a pop of brilliant colour. In the holographic line, the nail lacquer appears to colour-shift as the illumination source or the viewing angle changes just like a hologram. Its bright neon shades provide an explosion of colour to make your nails stand out. Whether it's Totally 80 or Awesome Orange or Pink Hottie, your world can be bright and beautiful from the tips of your fingers straight down to your toes.

Here are tips to make your polished nails last longer.

(1) Before polishing, do not shake the bottle. This creates air bubbles that will make polish peel when dry. Instead, roll between palms.

(2) Always use a base coat. Not only does this help the colour to set, it gives the colour something to hold on to, making it last longer.

(3) After polishing your nails, submerge them in a bowl of cold water for 30 seconds. This helps nails dry quicker and helps prevent smudging.

(4) Brush top coat on and around the edges of your nails; this provides an extra seal against chipping.

All featured colours are available at Jencare Skin Farm, 82 Hope Road, 946-3494-7.
