Bobby Chung captured the two-day Stocks and Securities National Shotgun Championship at the Worthy Park, St Catherine, on Sunday.
Chung, who was winning the title for the first time in his career, scored 16 points to top the competition ahead of Shaun Barnes (24) and Craig Simpson (26).
"I am overjoyed," said Chung. "This is the first time that I have ever won it, and so it is like a dream come true," said Chung.
He added: "I had to concentrate a lot and so there was a lot of pressure on me because all the other participants were shooting well going into the final day.
"However, I just had to maintain my focus and I was able to come away with the victory," Chung noted.
Meanwhile Simpson's score was enough to earn him the 'A' Class title ahead of Robert Yap (28) and Brett Thwaites (43). Evan Thwaites won the 'B' Class section with 56, followed by Paul Josephs (72) and Kingsley Chin (121). Kurt Waul tallied a score of 116 to take home the 'C' Class title in front of John Barnes (144) and Bobby Simpson (153).
More than 60 shooters competed at this year's event, which saw each participant shooting over 200 targets on both days.
