Ashley Martin wows at Christopher's

As harmonious melodies filled the air, old friends and new acquaintances had long talks over alcoholic beverages at Christopher's Jazz Lounge in New Kingston last Thursday night.
In a show produced by MO MuZyk PROS in association with Christopher's, former female lead singer of Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, Ashley Martin, treated those in attendance to a special performance filled with hit songs as she entertained and wowed them with her amazing vocal ability.
Singing songs such as I Don't Wanna Fight, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Surround Me With Love and Neither One Of Us, the audience loved every minute of her performance. A medley of If You Knew, Perfidia and No No No also connected well, however, it was Bob Marley's Redemption Song that got all rocking and singing along.
A well-received performance from male singing group Soul 4 Soul thrilled the ladies as they sang Jah Cure's Call On Me, Wayne Marshall's Good Love and Air Supply's All Out Of Love.
The Pon Fyah band of Ozou'ne, Paul 'Smiley' Madden and Neison Hardy played a good set and the background vocalists added the finishing touch to what was a great performance by Martin.
Live musical features on Thursday nights at Christopher's Jazz Lounge have been marked on the calendars of avid music fans since January 2009 when MO MuZyk PROS began producing shows at Christopher's. The move has proved to be a successful one as each night the crowd is good and great performances are delivered by the various artistes who have performed on past nights, including Mario Evon, Mary Isaacs, Stevie Face, Tanya Stephens, Dwight Richards, Benji Myers and Limey Murray.
