Seaview, Molynes register identical wins

Seaview Gardens and Molynes United registered identical 3-1 wins over Brown's Town and Swallowfield, respectively, as action continued in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Claro Jackie Bell knockout competition yesterday.

In their match at Vauxhall High School, Seaview Gardens got their goals courtesy of Anthony Brown (14th), Roland Young (20th) and Andrew Morrison (70th). Dwayne Byfield (84th) scored Brown's Town's consolation goal.

At Stadium East, Horace Anderson (7th, 83rd) notched a brace in Molynes United's victory, while Andrew Peddlar (53rd) scored their third goal. Dean Whittingham's 18th-minute goal provided Swallowfield's only bright spark.

The third match in Confe-deration Preliminary D's group of games saw Allman/ Woodford and Police National playing to a nil-all draw at Heroes Circle.

The return legs for all there games will be contested on September 17, next Friday.

The competition will continue on Monday when the first set of return games will be played in Confederation Preliminary A. Meadforest will travel to Tinson Pen to tackle Greenwich Town, Maxfield Park will host Rae Town at Norman Manley High School; while August Town will entertain Real Mona at the UWI Bowl.
