Aston Cooke's hilarious comedy, Single Entry, now playing at the Pantry Playhouse, boasts a cast of exciting fresh faces in Jamaican theatre. These fresh faces include Ashe performer Sharee McDonald Russell, the effervescent Nyanda Cammock, veteran actor Dennis Titus, along with youth thespians Akeem Mignott and Jovan McPherson.

In Single Entry, Dennis Titus plays the schemer boyfriend, 'Sheldon', who makes the arrangement for two Jamaican women ('Sonia' and 'Cherry') to abscond on their single-entry visas to the United States.

Titus is returning to Jamaica after a 10-year stint in television and theatre abroad. He played 'Royston' in the Canadian TV series Brothers and Sisters, appeared in the British medical drama, Holby City, and has a recurring role in the BBC (London) police procedural series The Bill.

The effervescent Nyanda Cammock is Sonia and has performed on stage in productions such as Man Better Man, Ecstasy, Deportee, Cassandra and, more recently, Karl Hart's Backstage.

Nyanda toured the Caribbean with Trevor Rhone's Positive and also worked with Blue Mountain Theatre in the United Kingdom.

Sharee McDonald Russell plays the role of Cherry in Single Entry. She is a long-standing member of Ashe Ensemble. She is a regular performer with JAMBIZ productions with performances in Patrick Brown's Ras Noah and the Hawk, Sheep in Wolf's Clothing and Easy Street.

Supporting actors Jovan McPherson and Akeem Mignott are members of Jamaica Youth Theatre (JYT). Jovan is also an apprentice drummer with L'Acadco. Akeem is a first-year student of the School of Drama at Edna Manley College.

Directed by versatile director Michael Holgate, Single Entry plays Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8:30 p.m., with matinee performances on Sundays at 6:00 p.m.
