Jamaica Theological Seminary (JTS) proudly announces the accreditation of its Bachelor of Social Work degree by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ). This means that all JTS degree offerings have now been fully accredited by the UCJ. In 2010, the UCJ accredited the JTS BA in guidance and counselling. JTS BA in theology and B A general degrees were previously accredited.

JTS is in its 51st year of theological education. It was founded by the Missionary Church Association in Jamaica in 1960. It is committed to training transformational leaders for Jamaica, the Caribbean and beyond, according to its mantra 'changing the world one life at a time'.

In addition, JTS also proudly announces its collaborative programme with the University of Exeter in the South West of England. This is a one-year full-time, two-year part-time, Research Masters degree (MRes), jointly supervised by Exeter and JTS. The focus of this research degree is on a post-colonial reading of Bible and Theology. Well-known and well-established scholars from the University of Exeter School of Humanities will be available to supervise students.
