The Pick-9 eluded punters at Caymanas Park on Wednesday and now boast a carryover of $1.1 million.

It embraces races two to 10 on tomorrow's card, while the first Super-6 comprises the first six races, the overlapping Super-6 commencing in race five.

We look at the second Super-6 which gets under way with a restricted allowance V for four-year-olds and up (non-winners of two) over the straight-five course, to be contested by eight starters.

Among them is EMERGENCE (Paul Francis up) who notched his only win over the course some months ago and has run some useful races over the distance when on the receiving end.

The four-year-old filly from the stables of Fitznahum Williams finished a close fourth to SI PUEDO over the course on January 22, and with less to do in present company, should win from LEGAL LADY and EVER BLESSED.

Race number six, the million-dollar Hot Line Stakes for native-bred three-year-old fillies over 1200 metres, should see the recent winners TREASURE GIRL, SWEET BROWNING and the unbeaten SWEET TRAIL in serious contention at the end. All three won very easily last time out, but there was a lot to like about TREASURE GIRL's victory over the straight in the Eight Thirty Sprint four weeks ago, and the Gary Subratie-trained filly is given the edge on this her third start.

The seventh race, the million-dollar Sir Howard Stakes over 1200 metres for three-year-old colts and geldings, should provide a repeat win for the fast-improving JET SETTER. The three-year-old gelding from the stables of champion trainer Wayne DaCosta won easily in a fast time over 1100 metres on New Year's Day, and with both the runner-up THE MESSENGER and third-place TREASURE GIRL paying tribute to the form by winning their subsequent races, JET SETTER should repeat at the expense of SMOKING MAN and BIG MAN BOYU.

MOJITA JAM

Briefly, down-in-class MOJITA JAM is preferred to recent winner QUIET KNIGHT in the eighth race over 1600 metres for $180,000 claimers, while the classy 4-y-o filly RONRON should outfinish the reigning champion sprinter SAINT CECELIA in the ninth race over 1200 metres for open allowance horses. Then, close all bets with STORM WATCH (knocking at the door) ahead of AWESOME WILDCAT in the Alex's Imports 'Dig Out' Handicap over 1600 metres.

SUPER-6 FANCIES

(5) EMERGENCE/LEGAL LADY

(6) TREASURE GIRL/SWEET BROWNING

(7) JET SETTER

(8) MOJITA JAM/QUIET RULER

(9) RONRON

(10) STORM WATCH/AWESOME WILDCAT
