The exquisitely beautiful Pulse supermodel, Gaye Mc Donald, is Vogue's latest high-fashion muse and, along with this major booking, is celebrating her L'Oreal hair campaign, set to be published later this year.

With her gorgeous, lanky limbs and movie-star beauty, the girl who won Pulse's CMS, the region's largest and most important model search, is starring in her second editorial for the Italian edition of the publication.

McDonald, who has distinguished herself among world modeling's elite stars, was shot by revered photographer Annie Leibowitz, one of the most pre-eminent portrait artists of her time.

Rated among the top 100 models in the world by Red Magazine at the end of 2008, the Pulse supermodel joins an illustrious list of exceptional individuals from the worlds of music, movies, fashion, politics, business and the arts who have been photographed by Leibowitz. These luminaries include Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Johnny Depp, Bill Gates and numerous others. Leibowitz has also taken official portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and the Obama family.

After winning the coveted CMS title, McDonald kept the world of international modeling waiting for two years as she focused on completing her studies at Holy Childhood High School. But while she was anchored in Jamaica, she caught the eye of Japan's top magazine editors.

So impressive was McDonald that they snapped her up for the cover of Luire, that country's top fashion magazine. Aside from her cover credit, Gaye, along with three other Pulse models - Nicole Grey, Latoya Samuels and Shevolee - scored a massive 24-page fashion editorial for the glossy, which also featured more than 70 pages on Jamaica's culture. The beauty would also work on editorials for SHE Caribbean, Oceanstyle and appeared on the annual Caribbean Fashionweek before moving on to her international career.

And, no sooner had she been introduced to the global modeling market than she instantly created major waves, booking an editorial for Cosmopolitan magazine within 24 hours of her signing with an agency in New York. This would set the tone for Gaye, who has worked for a solid list of top clients in world fashion. From Armani Exchange, Lanvin, Stella McCartney to Vera Wang, McDonald has been photographed and has walked major runway miles for the industry's finest. She has also had major campaign credits for Bennetton, Nordstrom, Macy's and numerous others.

The flawless McDonald is now busy with bookings for Cosmopolitan, Glamour and a campaign shoot for mega watch brand, American Swiss, which is to be shot in Cape Town, South Africa.
