J'Max Hair and Nail Club will be slashing prices on hair and nail services by 40 per cent during The Gleaner-sponsored Spa and Beauty Week.

With 10 years at the Constant Spring location, they are fully rooted in the business of beauty and hair care.

"You feel as if you are at home. We take care of your hair as much as we take care of you," said owner Wayne Maxwell.

The establishment has one nail technician and three stylists, with opening hours on Mondays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays-Saturdays 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Facial and eyebrow waxing will also be discounted.

Two of the product lines used in the salon are Redken and Keracare. They also use Global Keratin treatments, which is one service that will be excluded from the discounted items during the week.

"When you leave here your hair is always healthy and cute," remarked one customer.
