Defending champions Boys' Town could face a major obstacle in their bid for a third straight Champions Cup title when they tackle rivals Arnett Gardens, as the quarter-final round of the Flow-sponsored competition kicks off today.

They may be way ahead of their neighbours in the premier league standings, five points behind leaders Tivoli, while Arnett are in the thick of the fight for survival, but the fixture promises to be anything but a walkover for Boys' Town. In fact in three meetings this season, Boys' Town are yet to get the better of their rivals.

Boys' Town coach Andrew Price, however, believes the daunting statistic might have to do with the fact that the team was forced to use the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex as a home ground, in order to alleviate financial difficulty early this season.

"One of the things is that all the games we have played have been up at the Tony Spaulding Complex, come tomorrow we will be at Collie Smith Drive and looking forward to the crowd support, that should help us turn the table," Price said yesterday.

With the chance to lift their first league title in 21 years still a possibility, Boys' Town Price insists that they will not prioritise any competition.

"We have to put a lot of emphasis on it (Flow Cup), we are two-time defending champions, and we would love to three peat. What makes it even more so is that it is a Trench Town derby, that's always an electrically charged atmosphere with that long-standing rivalry between the teams, and we are looking forward to it very much.

The team will, however, be without the services of striker Anthony Bennett who picked up a red card in the last game.
