Something or someone seemed to have caught the attention of these women (from left), Jackie Smalling, Jascinth Lindo, UWI lecturer, Jacqui Neilssen, Nielssen Properties, and Chavoy Gordon, 2005 runner-up Miss Jamaica Universe, at the launch of 'Kingston Pon Di River' literary, arts and music festival.

Lovers of the now-defunct Calabash Literary Festival will have something to ease their withdrawal symptoms with the inaugural 'Kingston Pon Di River' to be staged by Dynamic Events Services on May 29. The literary, arts and music festival was launched at the Spanish Court Hotel in New Kingston on Tuesday night.

The event will be held at Boon Hall Oasis and will bring together exponents of the visual, performing and culinary arts.

Here are some pictorial highlights of the launch.
