The light afternoon showers failed to dampen the spirits of guests who were at the Jaguar XJ Experience lyme held on the grounds of ATL Automotive's Oxford Road headquarters last Thursday.
The soirée, held in association with the National Commercial Bank's (NCB) Private Banking Division, saw specially invited clients of the financial institution being acquainted with the automotive dealership's offerings.
Jaguar XJs, Audis, VWs and Land Rovers all sparkled under the evening sky.
"This is the second time we're doing this and we hope to do it monthly," said Judith Denton, ATL Automotive's marketing and communications manager. "But this time, we have the bank on board."
Brian Stevenson, managing director of ATL Automotive, had high expectations for the lyme.
"We hope to achieve a higher perception of what ATL Automotive has to offer. And, this will be done on a regular basis," Stevenson told Automotives.
The managing director said his company boasts the widest selection of premium-quality vehicles in Jamaica.
"And we'll be getting together a band of loyal supporters who will be test-driving our cars," he said.
According to Sharon Williams, NCB Private Banking: "We'rereally appreciative of the fact that ATL Automotive partnered with us on this initiative. ATL is offering excellent products and we, at NCB, are offering excellent rates."
The private-banking manager said her organisation's interest rate on car loans could go as low as 13 per cent.
"So if you see a vehicle here that you like, you need to speak with us. If you want to go lower than the rates we advertise, we can negotiate because we are inte-rested in our customers' well being and comfort," she said.
