Evona Yolande Edwards and her long-time beau, Dwight Christopher Porter, tied the knot on Saturday, December 17, 2011.

The two exchanged marriage vows at the Trinity Methodist Church in Portmore, St Catherine, under the watchful eyes of close friends and family. The ceremony, which was executed by Reverend Franklyn Smith, was what the couple expected - heartfelt and memorable!

Dwight and Evona, the daughter of Sandra and Festus Edwards, demonstrated their affection and mutual love throughout the ceremony.

During the reception, held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, guests were in good spirits celebrating with the newly-weds. The ballroom resonated with laughter, reflective of the couple's fun-filled and light-hearted nature.

The bridal party included matron of honour Grace Patterson-Myers and bestman David Porter. With them were bridesmaids Ysanne Bascoe, Charlene Danvers, Shanile Edwards and Nadine Porter; groomsmen Lyndon Edwards, Marc Lewis, Michael Myers and David L. Porter. The flower girl was Tona-Collijah Manbauman.

The couple honeymooned at Secrets Resorts and Spa.
