Mon congrats to Belgian ambassador to Jamaica His Excellency Frederic Meurice and his lovely wife Lydie, on the birth of their son Leo, who was born on December 28, here in Kingston, Jamaica.

And it's definitely all about the fab parish of Hanover this weekend as the social event of the season, the annual Sugarcane Ball, is all set to unfold. The atmosphere will be one of high glam and fab glitz, as the well-to-do, international jetsetters and the country's leading socialites will all be out lending support to the Hanover charities. It starts tomorrow evening with the tres hot ball at the preferred resort of the uber fab, chic Round Hill Villas and Resort, for a night of fabulous celebration and nothing but!

Then, following recuperative brunches and breakfasts on Sunday, the weekend activities continue with yet another premier social outing. It will be all about the Chukka Hanover polo outing, sponsored by Veuve Cliquot, that will see a festival of hats on parade, as gents and ladies of style vie for bragging rights to topping the best hat while at high tea!

Dears, the fab life does not get any better than that, so y'all know it's all about Hanover this weekend!

And speaking of Hanover, luvs, if y'all missed the fab nude wedding at the fab entertainment capital of the Caribbean - SuperClubs' ultra hot adults only super-inclusive resort, Hedonism II, located between Hanover and Westmoreland, then you all missed another style-perfect celebration of the au natural nuptial.

Dears, we are talking about one fine celebration here, as the event, filmed by National Geographic TV for airing later on this year, is currently the toast of the world media, from London to Bangkok, way 'down-under' and on the African continent, not to mention on social media, as the chic everywhere cannot get enough of the most talked-about nuptials since the British royal wedding.

And little wonder here as while news of weddings in the buff evoke an imagery of licentiousness for the pedestrian of mind, the nuptials themselves are far more traditionally safe and, excepting the fact that, for the most part, those who exchange vows do so naked. But, honeys, for the couples, the sentiments are the same as for those who do so fully clothed - they shed tears of joy, they regard their unions as sacrosanct and they see their wedding as the ultimate public affirmation of their love and commitment to each other.

Anyway, my dears, stay tuned to National Geographic TV as the wedding that saw nine couples exchanging their vows on the beach of the resort will be exploring the idea of an all-nude wedding, a subject considered taboo by many, so stay tuned!
