Solar solution full of hot air

I write in response to The Gleaner's lead story ('JPS blackout') on Monday, February 27, 2012.

The persons that can't afford solar systems will be left with an even higher bill when the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) tries to recover the lost revenue from those who went to solar.

This will result in poor people facing higher electricity bills.

Solar panels may not be the solution for the energy price crisis in Jamaica right now, as the price for the panels is much higher than sourcing electricity from JPS itself.
