Campion College and St Catherine High will resume their battle for first-innings honours in their two-day ISSA/Grace Shield Premier League semi-final clash at Campion today, after both teams ended yesterday's first day on level footing.
In a game that was interrupted by rain, Campion closed the day on 83 for six, 40 runs behind St Catherine's total of 123.
National Under-15 batsman Abhijai Mansingh, who is not out 37, is the leading scorer for Campion, while Chris Lewis, 16, is the other top scorer.
Earlier, Mansingh and Carlton Brown took three wickets to undermine St Catherine. Mansingh claimed three for 39 and Brown three for three.
Chevron Morris led the batting for St Caterine with 34, while Odane Duncan added 33.
Amanjah Morris, two for 11, has so far taken most wickets for St Catherine.
In the other semi-final, defending champions Innswood put in a fine performance against Spanish Town High at Chedwin Park.
Innswood, batting first, made 221 and bowled out the visitors for 71. Asked to follow on, Spanish Town closed the day on two runs for two wickets.
