A REPORTED gun battle between police and gunmen along Dunbarton Avenue in St Andrew late yesterday afternoon left one man dead and a policeman shot and injured. The policeman was rushed to hospital for treatment.
A second man was shot and injured and taken to hospital.
The Constabulary Communication Network reported yesterday that the incident occurred about 5:50 p.m. and a firearm was seized.
The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the matter.
