Moore was sworn in along with his 13 other PNP colleagues as the political directorate of the parish at the Anglican Church Hall.

In his address, Moore thanked Wilson for his work throughout the divestment process of the sugar industry in securing benefits for the workers.
addressing sewerage system
In a speech which was punctuated with gratitude, the mayor noted that the main item on his agenda is a central sewerage system for the town of Savanna-la-Mar. He also told The Gleaner that access to water and roads is also high on the agenda.
"In this modern time, it is not good when persons don't have access to water in their homes," he said.
"We will be making representations for that in addition to roads, such as Grange Hill to Sav; Whithorn to Mackfield; and Scotts Cove to Bluefields."
Deputy Mayor Delancy gave the assurance that he will be building on the work of his predecessor.
"I will be adding to what the former deputy had started to embrace, continuity, while at the same time supporting the plans laid out by the mayor," Delancy said after the swearing-in ceremony.
