On January 21, St Elizabeth native Sanya Brown and Kingstonian Andrew Duggan said their 'I dos' in the wedding of their dreams. The two met at a party at Weekenz along Constant Spring Road in 2003.
That meeting blossomed beyond the boundaries of friendship and after five years of dating, Andrew popped the question.A few weeks later in November 2010, Brown, who is a human resource
administrator in the Cayman Islands, began planning her wedding long
distance. She planned the entire event paying attention to even the
smallest details.
The wedding decor and floral creations were designed and styled by Paula Fenton of AWU Events using the couple's favourite colours red and black. The decor was embellished with accents of silver and white, complemented with rhinestones and crystals to reflect the couple's love of all things bling!
The groom, who is a entrepreneur and jewellery designer, designed and made their wedding bands.
After exchanging vows at the University Chapel at the University of the West Indies Mona campus, the reception followed at the Venetian ballroom at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel. The wedding cake was created by Nicole's Sweet Temptations.
The couple honeymooned at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay.
