Classic Protection and Security Limited hosted a charity wine and cheese mixer at the Stella Maris pastoral centre on Sunday.

Although it was for a worthy cause, there was no skimping on the variety of hors d'oeuvres available.

Guests were kept satisfied as they sampled the variety of wines provided by Caribbean Producers Jamaica. There was a variety of quiches available - from ackee to calaloo to chicken. But what seemed to be the favourite for most was Jus Cupcakes by Tamara. From Black Forest to plain cheesecake, guests were really indulging their sweet tooth. But of all the cupcakes, the favourite was the strawberry coconut. With coconut on top, guest were surprised by the strawberry inside when they took a bite.

But for meat lovers, the crème de la crème must have been the succulent lamb and pork sausages offered by VIP meats. It was definitely the delicious cherry on top to a very relaxing evening.
