Education ministry rebukes primary schools for $8,000 unauthorised exams
The education ministry has come out swinging against administrators of primary schools who are turning away prospective students based on the results of unauthorised screening exams.
A bulletin, recently issued by the Ministry of Education, instructed the administrators to end this practice.
"School administrators are being warned to immediately desist from this practice and cease from discriminating against any student, parent or family on financial, intellectual or social grounds," read a section of the bulletin.
