The summer holidays are fast approaching and already many parents and guardians are wondering what to do with their children. For the next few days, we will share with you a list of some of the educational, sporting and church camps that are available. If you are hosting a camp, email barbara.ellington@gleanerjm.com.

The Mico University College Caribbean Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Education will, for the third year, host a summer camp for children aged three-five years old. According to Director Esther Ying, the camp will provide an early-childhood programme that is fun-filled but will still cater to the cognitive, social and emotional development of the child.

The camp will run from July 9-27 at the centre from Monday to Thursday. Each day will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the cost is $2,000 per week.
