Just in time for the festivities of celebrating Jamaica 50, Wray & Nephew has launched a range of limited edition commemorative packages of their White Overproof Rum.

The commemorative packages were launched at a 'spirited' event at the Mona Visitor's Lodge on Tuesday. They include three individual canisters, each representing one of the colours of the Jamaican flag. Each canister contains a 750 millilitre bottle of White Overproof Rum and features the official Jamaica 50 logo.

The commemorative packages also include a Jamaica 50 branded two-bottle gift box and, in addition, the outer carton has also been redesigned for the celebrations and now features the Jamaican flag.

Managing director, Paul Henriques, noted that the limited commemorative canisters were a gift to the Jamaican people and will be available at no extra cost.

A special Independence punch was also available for guests to sample. This modern twist on the traditional Jamaican rum punch recipe is the perfect showcase for Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum and Jamaica's fruits and spices.
