The 2012 'Safeguard Your Heart!' District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses is scheduled to begin this morning at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

In a release yesterday, Jehovah's Witnesses' information office said the convention would highlight biblical references to the heart.

"Programme parts will also encourage self-scrutiny and reflection, amounting to a three-day examination of one's own figurative heart," stated the release.

"Attendees will see how protecting the figurative heart can help them to make wise decisions, improve family life, strengthen their personal relationship with God, and find true happiness."

For all three days of the convention, the programme sessions begin at 9:20 a.m. and admission is free to the public.
