St George's College forward Kendon Anderson and midfielder Kareem Manning, as well as Camperdown midfielder Rashaun Patterson, have been included in the Reggae Boyz 26-man, local-based training squad for the country's August 15 friendly international against El Salvador at the RFK Stadium, Washington, DC.

The speedy Anderson, who was the leading goalscorer in the urban-area Manning Cup schoolboy football competition last year, and Manning both helped their school to the coveted Inter-Secondary School Sports Association treble - Manning Cup league and Walker Cup knockout double, and the all-island Olivier Shield.

Patterson, in the meantime, captained Camperdown to the second round of the Manning Cup, during which he was one of the standout players.

The squad, which started training yesterday and will break camp on Thursday, also includes the core of the local-based players who coach Theodore Whitmore and his staff plan to use during the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

The Boyz will first play the United States on September 7 at the National Stadium, before travelling to the USA for the return game on September 14.

The training camps, in the meanwhile, are also being used to look at players ahead of the Digicel Caribbean Cup, which will be played later this year.
