With less than two weeks to go before Jamaica's official 50th anniversary celebrations, the Jamaica 50 Secretariat is encouraging everyone at home and abroad to participate in the 'One Million Pins Initiative'.
The 'One Million Pins Initiative' is a commemorative lapel pin of pride that symbolises love and respect for country and commitment to the tenets of the National Pledge.
The secretariat wants every Jamaican to wear the Pin of Pride wherever they are in the world from now until December. There are four pins in the collection, namely gold, coloured, antique and green and gold.
They are available at Things Jamaican stores islandwide, Courts, the Jamaica Information Service and the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission offices. The pins are collector's items, neatly packaged and priced at J$700 each, including GCT.
For further information, contact the Jamaica 50 Secretariat at email: onemillionpinsjam50@gmail.com or visit their website at www.jamaica50.com
Not to be left out, Jamaicans overseas can place orders through O&M Trading online at omglobaltrading.com. Check out the other fabulous items that are available.
