OCHO RIOS, St Ann:
THE AMERICAN family of three who were reported missing from a cruise ship, which docked in Ocho Rios on Thursday were found in Discovery Bay, St Ann, and deported by the authorities on Sunday.
The three are 45-year-old Donald Henderson, 43-year-old Maria Henderson and 21-year-old Aja Henderson.
Commanding officer for St Ann, Senior Superintendent Carlton Wilson, told The Gleaner that the three were discovered in a villa in Discovery Bay last weekend.
Wilson said they were taken to the Sangster International Airport on Sunday and placed on a flight back to the USA, after making the necessary checks, including with INTERPOL, that they were not trying to flee from the law in the United States of America.
The three had arrived on a Carnival Freedom cruise ship, which docked in Ocho Rios on Friday. They were reported missing after they failed to return to the ship when the vessel was ready to depart.
