Persons wishing to participate in the next sitting of the Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) examinations will have to wait until June.
This after the Overseas Examination Commission (OEC) cancelled sittings for the October/November examinations due to low registration.
"The numbers for GCE have been trending down significantly and the November registrations have been very small and it is not economically feasible for us to pursue it," said Sharon Burnett, deputy director of the OEC.
This does not mean that there are no longer opportunities to sit the exam. The OEC plans to hold a GCE exam in June.
"If they want to take the exam in November, we explained to them that they can register in June," said Burnett.
The OEC apologised for the inconveniences and encouraged persons with questions or concerns to contact its office.
