diGJamaica on top of the legislative agenda

For many persons, the activities of the Houses of Parliament are a mystery, with the majority of the populace depending on the media for a glimpse into the happenings of Gordon House.

However, the legislation crafted by those in the high-backed green chairs is what creates the parameters for life in Jamaica, and everyone should be knowledgeable of, and understand, the laws of the land.

The Gleaner's diGJamaica website believes in this philosophy and has created a page dedicated to the publication of Government papers.

On this page, users can peruse the Constitution of Jamaica, as well as reports and ministry papers tabled in Parliament.

Persons interested in the Jamaica Development Infrastructure Pro-gramme are able to review the Special Audit Report tabled by the auditor general in November 2011 posted in this section in flip magazine format.

Persons can also use our links to the Ministry of Justice website for a list of all the legislation passed and in force in Jamaica.
