Frater the unsung hero

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Who is he? He is the shortest man of the 4x100m relay team who is always unnoticed.

He is always the star of the Olympics and World Championships, for me. He never fails us. His performances are always stupendous.

He gave us a silver medal when our expectant Asafa Powell failed us. He is not recognised by many, but that doesn't deter him.

He is brave, a true fighter, with hope, faith, and a big heart. I hope to see him in the 100m at next year's World Championships. He is none other than Michael Frater.

Keep going. You, Michael, are my role model and champion.
