In a single word, Sabrina Mugisa summed up her relationship and marriage to Gleaner sports reporter Kwesi. It's "perfect"!

The vivacious general insurance underwriter who met her husband six years prior to the July 7, nuptials told Flair that the relationship has been a solid one.

"We were introduced by my maid of honour and a mutual friend Tahana Seivewright at a Reggae Boyz match at the National Stadium. Can't say we hit it off instantly because he is quiet and reserved and I am outgoing, but we found common ground," said the still-beaming bride.

In-between giggles, she related a hot love affair with many a dinner date and planned vacation together. Then came the proposal.

"It was supposed to be a surprise at Grand Palladium Resorts in Hanover. I found out before and could not keep the secret, so he did it at home down on one knee; I was elated," she said.

A simple wedding, which followed Christian precepts, took place at the Mona Baptist Church in St Andrew and the couple was blessed by Rev Stephen Jennings, the officiating minister. Reception followed at the College Common residence of the groom's parents.

The bride's dress - Morilee by Madeline, was a perfect figure-hugging fit which featured a fitted bodice and a flowing skirt trimmed with rosettes. The asymmetrical hemline ended in a small train. She opted for a small tiara, but no veil, which she felt would have been "too much".

The maid of honour and bridesmaid were dressed in olive and orange by the bride's aunt, Sharon Wisdom-Graham.

The groom selected a Jean Yves-designed suit.
