With a voice unmatched and with powerful vocals, singer Tessanne Chin brought life to the Behind the Screen series at Tracks & Records on Tuesday night.
The artiste delivered an intimate acoustic set for her fans. Dressed in black and gold, Tessanne ignited the stage with songs such as Broken Melody and Incredible Love.
Informing the audience that she was excited to be doing an acoustic set, Tessanne's voice became the star of the show as she delivered hits from a vast catalogue.
With a very receptive audience, Tessanne could do no wrong. Using the opportunity to promote some of her latest singles, she then went about gaining some new fans.
Songs such as Call Fi Mi Cure, which was dedicated to her husband, Messenger, When I'm With You and The Reason, all had the audience singing along with the talented singer.
With her supreme vocals, Tessanne also did a rendition of Sean Paul's hit single She Doesn't Mind.
Adding to the excitement, other renditions, including Rihanna's We Found Love and Where Have You Been, had the audience dancing.
Though her voice was splendid, one of the biggest crowd responses came not because of Tessanne's singing.
Uncharacteristically, Tessanne began to do her version of 'bruk it dung', to much fanfare.
The reggae fusion singer segued into Mr Vegas' single of the same name and had the audience screaming, jumping and begging to see more.
Proving that talent runs in her family, Tessanne's sister Tami Chynn joined her on-stage and together they delivered their single You and Me.
"This song is from an artiste I respect, my dream is to do a song with this artiste. I dedicate this song to my husband," Tessanne told the audience before performing Affairs of the Heart.
Tessanne closed a wonderful performance of Hideaway and left the audience yearning for more.
