Don't hinder success of youth

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Having read Glenn Tucker's article on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, I am in agreement. I am amazed at what some folks would do to the next generation to grossly hamper their success. What is your answer to this travesty?

What our English teachers (not the subject) did in the 1950s and '60s is still being done by our own.

The average Jamaican is an avid traveller. How do they communicate abroad?

Patois or English?

Please continue your fight, Mr Tucker.
