Tanya Miller has resigned from PanCaribbean as vice-president of group marketing after six years to "pursue a new opportunity".

She leaves the company officially on September 30.

Miller joined Pan Caribbean Financial Services' marketing division in 2006 and was promoted to her current role as vice-president of group marketing for Sagicor Life Jamaica and PanCaribbean after a restructuring and merger of marketing functions across the Sagicor Jamaica Group.

Miller has worked in marketing for more than 17 years.

"I've worked with the group for six wonderful years and enjoyed every moment of it. My decision is based on a new opportunity," Miller said on Friday.

She ran a unit of 11 persons spanning both PanCaribbean and Sagicor, whose main offices are in walking distance of each other in the New Kingston business district. Her job also included brand and new product development.
