The National Council for Senior Citizens (NCSC) has been recognising persons who turn 60 this year at its ongoing retirement-planning seminars across Jamaica, under the Jamaica 50 activities. This batch of 60-year-olds are from St Andrew. They are (from left), Joycelin Duncan, Pamela Miller, Oliver Gray, Marjorie Gaynor and Mary Cresser. Seniors make up more than 11 per cent of the Jamaican population and this percentage is expected to double by year 2020. - Contributed
