She's my angel

What was supposed to be an ordinary ride home in May 2007, turned out to be the highlight of Mario Blair's day, month, year and life. It was the day he met the woman who was to be his bride, Judiann Bryan.

Blair told Flair that he was sitting at the back of the staff bus listening to the relaxing sounds of Bobby Valentino when he noticed someone trying to get his attention. "Her first question to me was 'How you acting as if you are so nice and not talking to anybody?'." he recalled. He said that after laughing he introduced himself and was immediately attracted to her smile and how forward she was.

They saw each other a few more times, after which they exchanged numbers. He called two days later, only to find out that she was ill. "I was very happy to hear her voice, but ironically, I felt happier that she was sick as this would warrant my first visit," he said. "I immediately took it upon myself to make my special fish soup and rode my bicycle for what seemed like an hour to get to her apartment." He told Flair that as he reached her door he got extremely nervous. "My heart stopped and I stood outside the door searching for reasons why I should turn and walk away. Of course, I found only happy thoughts of what could be if my visit goes well. I finally mustered up the courage and knocked. The most beautiful angel in God's contingent opened the door. It was then that I knew I wanted Judiann in my life forever."

Four years after their first encounter, Blair proposed to Bryan at dinner on her birthday. "Her look of shock and surprise had me on my knees for a few minutes awaiting an answer. Finally, she recovered and said yes, screaming excitedly."

Bryan, a pharmacist, and Blair, a financial analyst, got married at Cary Island in Ocho Rios on July 21.

The bride wore a beautiful Allure couture wedding gown while the groom was attired in a dark Van Heusen suite. They honeymooned at RIU Ocho Rios, St Ann.
