A wonderful time in London

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Thanks so very much to all who put on the events at Jamaica House in London. I could not book any tickets, but followed the advice given that one should still go down as one might be able to get in. Well, we went down on Sunday, August 6. We got in, all 13 of us, and despite buying tickets at £40 to see Morgan Heritage, Shaggy, among others, we could not leave the House.

What an atmosphere! It was fantastic and free! Everyone was so friendly, you could talk to anyone there, mash their foot, and they did not mind. The musicians who were there to entertain us were fantastic

We stayed until 10 p.m. Every time we got up to leave, we could not!

Thanks to you all for a wonderful time. Let's hope we, as Jamaicans, hold on to the words of our anthem.
