Dr Jascinth Lindo hosted her 45th birthday in fab style on the grounds of the Senior Common Room, University of the West Indies, last week. The party was attended by some of Jamaica's finest intellectuals and business professionals.

Unusual decorations, in the form of oversized masks, were displayed strategically on the grounds of the SCR, and coupled with special lighting effects on the 20-foot mask in the pool, the stage for what was to come.

Then in came the costumed guests. With big smiles and hugs, they greeted the hosts of the party, Professor John and Dr Jascinth Lindo who were dressed as Dracular and wench.

The dance floor had similar resemblance of Margi Dres. Garth Dawkins played hit after hit that kept guests on the floor all night. Member of Parliament Andre Hylton pulled everything together as he fulfilled his role as an emcee in style and with great humour.
