One half of the sister dynasty, songstress Tessanne Chin has been wooing us with her powerful voice and lyrics. But apart from the already talked-about talents, this Jamaican beauty possesses a style that is unrivalled by many. For her, style is a very individual thing which causes her to be most stylish and confident when she is comfortable. Many may not share this view but Tessanne confessed to Style Moments, "That may not be very fashion forward, but it's true for me. I don't want to have to be worried if this needs to be adjusted every two seconds or if I can't breathe in that," she laughs. "I would describe my style as a likkle bit of everything like my music. I love something that looks tailored and structured like the Cedella Marely jump-suit, but then I also love the Jerell Scott dress because its flowy, so, it just depends when all is said and done," she ended. Admitting that she's a very simple girl, she stated, "I'm still just a regular girl who is probably gonna go to the supermarket in sandals, a nice top, some shorts and my gold hoops," she laughed.

5 style must-haves

1 Kerry-Ann Clarke. I'm not even going to pretend I know that much about fashion but I know I feel amazing when I leave her store and that she has helped me to step up my game fashion-wise.

2 Roxanne. For transforming my hair and giving me a fierce cut and colour. I love this new shorter, edgier do because it's so easy and so necessary in this heat.

3 Accessories. I never leave home without my hoops, or any earring for that matter, my grandma's bangle, wedding ring and, of course, a little touch of pink or coral-colour on the lips helps to brighten up my day. NB, I save the red lips for special occasions.

4 Honest girlfriends. I have some of the fiercest fashionistas for friends, one being my sister Tami, and they have not been shy with their opinions. They will redress you on the spot, but I always know I can count on them for giving honest opinions so I don't walk out of the house looking like a bag of trix.

5 A great pair of nude heels. They can be worn with anything. I love shoes, possibly even more than clothes, so a great pair of heels, full stop, is awesome, but I find you get the most use out of the ones that can be worn with everything.

For a little brawta, confidence. To me the most important style one must have, no matter what dress size or mood, is confidence. It makes all the difference.
