Angered by the brutal attack on five females, Jamaicans took to the streets last Friday to demand an end to the violence.

With the condemnation continuing yesterday, president of The Jamaica Association of Full Gospel Churches, Bishop Rowan Edwards added his voice and the voices of his members.

"As a nation, we must take a stand against such cruelty and we believe the perpetrators, when caught, should face the full consequence of the law for their actions," said Edwards.

"A strong message must be sent to all who would seek to disrupt the lives of our people," added Edwards as he recounted the Edmund Burke quote, 'all that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing'.
