THE EDITOR, Sir:

On Thursday, September 27, 2012, I attended the Sir Arthur Guinness concert at the National Indoor Sports Centre, at the insistence of a dear friend.

Having just returned to Jamaica from working in New Jersey for six years, I was like a fish out of water. Having heard so many horror stories about robberies and shoot-outs at events, I must admit I was hesitant to go along.

Nonetheless, I trusted my friend and went to the event.

What an amazing production! What a first-class execution! I was thoroughly impressed with the ease with which we got into the venue, the ample security throughout the location, the convenient access to the bar and restroom facilities. I was really blown away, and that was just the half of it.

I laud the organisers, the producers and promoters of the concert - you all did a wonderful job!
