Yellow Pages launches BB app

On the heels of launching their Jamaica Yellow Pages mobile app for Android and Apple users in April, Jamaica Yellow Pages is back with their highly anticipated BlackBerry mobile app.

The app is now available for download free from BlackBerry App World https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/131834/?lang=en, and www.jamaicayp.com.

According to a release from Yellow Pages, research has shown that in the Caribbean, BlackBerry has more than 80 per cent of the consumer and business market. In Jamaica, more than 70 per cent of the mobile market use or own a BlackBerry.

"With our newly released JYP Mobile App for BlackBerry users, we can now tap into that market, and our clients and end-susers can now easily find and discover any business listed in the Jamaica Yellow Pages with just a click on their BlackBerry mobile device," said Alleyne Graham, marketing manager at Jamaica Yellow Pages.

The JYP mobile app for BlackBerry boasts similar features to that of the recently launched app for Android and Apple users, such as search by text entry.

It also allows users to sort results by relevance or distance, alphabetically, click-to-call dialling, list and map views, and more.

With our print, online and mobile platforms, our customers have numerous ways to find and discover anything they need locally. Like our print directory, our mobile app provides complete and reliable information on the go."

Customers can use the new mobile app to search the Yellow Pages for businesses in Jamaica islandwide. They can also easily access business addresses, phone numbers, websites, email addresses, and ads.
