Published: Tuesday | October 9, 2012 Comments 0

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Jamaica celebrated International Right to Know Day on September 28, which is a global initiative to promote the right to all people to access information from public institutions.

The Jamaica Coalition for Tobacco Control (JCTC) would like to thank the staff at the Access to Information Unit for the support and professionalism it exhibited in assisting us.

We would like to commend the unit for its great customer service and encourage it to maintain this high standard as it continues promoting good governance through accountability, transparency and accessibility to public records.

Keep up the good work!

DEBORAH CHEN

Board Member, JCTC
