I would like to offer congratulations to Digicel on the launch of its 'Be Extraordinary' advertising campaign. This campaign, crafted no doubt to bring attention to the company's many products and services, has with one fell swoop the potential to encourage the entire country to lift its standard to extraordinary levels.
Imagine the huge benefits to be achieved if this concept catches on. Imagine if extraordinary were the new norm for our students, teachers, businesses and Government. How wonderful this would be!
Is it too much to hope that other companies could turn away from the normal day-to-day, uninspiring advertising stuff and embrace extraordinary as the new standard for advertising their products and services? And, yeah, I'm holding my breath.
